    Missile Defense

Russian military leaders have expressed concern about US plans for a national missile defense system. Will defense technology be limited by possibilities for a strategic imbalance? Is this just SDI all over again?

To this day the former US secretay of state
Zbigniew Brenzinski remains unrepentant:

saying

"What is more important in the world view of history," speaking with just a touch of irritation, " the Taliban or the fall of the Soviet Empire? A few stirred up muslims or the iberation of central Europe and the end of the cold war?"

The problem with American Foreign Policy has been simply this - too ugly for Walt DISNEY to cinematize!

"The orthodox casuistry among factotums, columinist and courtiers of Washington is symbolised by British PM Tony Blair's personal assistant for foreign affairs, ex-diplomat Robert Cooper, who writes openly: "We need to get used to the idea of double standards." The underlying maxim of this cynicidm is: we will punish the crimes of our enemies and reward the crimes of our friends. /Tariq Ali Mon24Sept2001TheAustralian

As a consequence to this lunarchick 9/23/01 8:42pm Americans have little idea about the machiavellian strategies employed in their name by the Fifth Estate - the hidden spine of government - & currently operational.

Following the logic above begs the question of the day

Who killed cock robin?

Which then begs the question

Will the victims and families of victims of the WTC incident take out a collective writ against the USA government for incompetent foreign policy initiatives?

Should the Sparrow replace the Eagle in the American psyche?

It is at least truthful and honest. lunarchick 9/23/01 9:03pm

Complexity theory: the birds have it over us .. and the Inner sanctum of the Bwsh Administration? There 'roles' haven't been fully understood.

Would this ( lunarchick 9/23/01 9:03pm )encourage the American Congress to sort out the mess that enables the CIA to dictate American Foreign Policy? If not what will it take for the USA to put foreign policy history on the table?

Where's truth?

If people have something to hide - including assets - shouldn't this be known - if there are legitimate claims, from real people, are to be met.
