Russian military leaders have expressed concern about US plans
for a national missile defense system. Will defense technology be
limited by possibilities for a strategic imbalance? Is this just SDI
all over again?

Many of our stories and literature shake out to simplicity -
Shakespeare wrote the seven ages of man - would this be done as
simply today?

.... Then a soldier, Full of strange oaths and
bearded like the pard*, Jealous in honour, sudden and quick in
quarrel, Seeking the bubble reputation Even in the canon's
mouth. And then the justice, In fair round belly with good
capon* lined, With eyes severe and beard of formal cut, Full
of wise saws* and modern instances; And so he plays his part.

As seen above it is said that one can't kill terrorism. And if
it's a bank. It has liquidity. Is fluid. Flows. It moves into the
vacuums of discontent!

If the world doesn't want 'people' to call upon the 'terrorism
bank' then what has to be done?
What understanding is there of the Seven Ages of Nation - Region
Development.
What might some of those stages be? How can those stages be eased
and assisted and ensured by countries futher along the continuum?
Within the regions are the people who have Maslow needs - to all
levels within their surrounds and environment. Basic needs have to
be met. People have to see a future for their DNA for their children
for their future DNA for their grandchildren.

Varied philosophies have grown out of environments. Primitive
folk - perhaps even KOKO? - evolved rules and codes related to the
spirits dwelling within the natural manifestations of their
immediate environment. Later - with the mobility of the Mongolian
horse, the god was thrown skyward to travel with the human -
whereever a warrior/traveller went.

A problem to today is how to enable various philosophies and
religions ... that grew out of different needs and different
environments .. to coexist in the modern complex world.
In world cities they do just that.
In deprived economic zones the basic human teachings of their
philosophy can be twisted to act upon itself and others.

Sometimes in business it is necessary to STOCKTAKE. To draw a
line. To take stock. To separate the activities of THE THEN, from
THE NOW.
With respect to recent past American Foreign Policy - a follow-up
questionnaire to assess the quality component would be appropriate!

Americans are gobsmacked - note recent limited contributions to
NYT threads. Tragic Tuesday kicked the US nation in the nether-regions
paralysing a nation.
The question 'WHY DID THIS HAPPEN?' is still not being voiced.
Will the National Gut Feeling ever demand TRUE answers related to
past foreign policy? Isn't this necessary to stocktake, to draw the
line ... to look to orderning new and different stocks more suited
to C21 world needs.
Were America to be seen to have a focus on the Why did it happen
questions ... then the world might at least feel they were beginning
to travel a path of truth, honesty and understanding .. from which a
new and better beginning for the century might occur.
The basic needs of all nations have to be taken care of ... it's
a complex and interrelated world.

Showalter, I noted that one declaration by the new world alliance
is to rid the world of terrorism.
It occurs to me that 'anyone' might be labelled 'terrorist' and
disposed of. Regimes stocktaking might clean out people - as if
redundant goods - and dispose of them - under the auspices of making
it a safer world!
