Russian military leaders have expressed concern about US plans
for a national missile defense system. Will defense technology be
limited by possibilities for a strategic imbalance? Is this just SDI
all over again?

Process model's
enable feedback. The value of feedback is that the provider can help
ensure that s/he is meeting the real NEEDS of clients.
How many leaders have a feedback model regarding the wishes of
their electorate with respect to the advocation by the Political
Strategist to murder 'Others' ?

Hello and greetings from the south pacific, where last week the
missle defence system was tested, and according to propaganda sources
was a "success".The pig headed arrogance of the Bush
administration,in pursuing this so stubbornly,is a total disaster in
progress,on a global level,let alone an american one.Unfortunately
the Bush dynasty has continued, in the form of a demon spawn, placed
there by the people who pushed the "star wars" concept nearly 20
years ago.Now we have an American President, who arguably, won his
mandate thanks to sharp lawyers, and "old money",about to re-boot the
cold war,and put worldwide opinion even further than it already
is,against George w Bush, and the American public who apparently
voted for him.I love America and it's people, but it appears
that, someone ,anyone, has got to wake up and let the people know
about the madness.-Mark Williams New Zealand

The arrogant attitude re MD is
'if it's off shore there is no law'
Notice how the major powers select and bully the smaller nations
in the Pacific to 'test' out MD and nuclear horrors!
The further attitude, that those not in the home country are
'other' and have no human-rights, can be killed or let live, at the
whim of the major power is very disconcerting.
All human beings from all countries have a right to RIGHTS ?

The president praised Mr Blair's willingness to hear his case
on missile defence - which he has already rehearsed when they met
at Camp David in February. "The thing I appreciate about the prime
minister is that he is willing to think anew as we move into the
future. It is hard for countries to commit to vague
notions. But there are some leaders who just out of hand
reject any willingness to think anew about security. The prime
minister is not that way." http://www.guardianunlimited.co.uk/bush/story/0,7369,524590,00.html

With the ingenuity the Bush administration is now devoting to
making its case for missile defense (and you have to credit them
with ingenuity and initiative on this) they could accomplish so much
useful !
What they are doing now is making a mess much worse, rather than
fixing it.
With the facts that apply on missile defense - there isn't any
question what the proper Harvard Business School approach
shoud be. Assets in a hopeless program, human and institutional,
should be redeployed to where they can do some good.
President Bush made shift to pass through HBS with an
MBA - and he should know what leadership takes in a case like
this.
