Russian military leaders have expressed concern about US plans
for a national missile defense system. Will defense technology be
limited by possibilities for a strategic imbalance? Is this just SDI
all over again?

Dumb on Defense ...Let's have
a new rule: If you pronounce the word "nukular," you shouldn't
go around nullifying nuclear treaties. Or building nuclear power
plants.

Maybe he figures his promotion of nuclear families qualifies him
for the rest.

Anyone perplexed by the 'logic' of the scrapping of the 72
agreement and move to seemingly 'chaos' that is expected to actually
escalate the Arms Race. Why do countries start to feel 'more under
threat' in the new Bwsh environment than previous ... a matter of
uncertainty ?

I think the answers are unfortunate, but getting to be evident.
Sometimes moral and practical right are very closely related:

getting or honest and right answers anywhere in society, there are
imperatives here. rshowalter

danger is, but nobody wants to think about it, because it seems that
we are in an unchangeable impasse. .. . . . But with the change of a
few false assumptions to true ones, and some care in dealing with
the real human beings involved, we can find a much better, safer,
more beautiful solution to this ugly mess, which could quite easily
destroy the world, and which stains us all. 784: rshowalter

These days, there's only a tiny interval between the time I post,
and my computer getting penetrated. It is very unlikely to be a
random event.
