Russian military leaders have expressed concern about US plans
for a national missile defense system. Will defense technology be
limited by possibilities for a strategic imbalance? Is this just SDI

Noted that Russia is selling conventional ARMS to Iran .. when
they ought not to be .. justifed the deal to themselves.
Pity the goods changing hands are ugly little machines to load
and click and kill.
A more Beautiful, and longterm more benifical exchange would have
been one related to knowledge and learning and human growth towards
enhanced statehood.

Dawn, I share your long terms goals, but for just now, I think
you're holding Russia to an impossibly high and unrealistic
standard, given the actions of the United States, as Russia, from a
Russian point of view, has to understand them.

. "Historically, presidents left a power vacuum
in American nuclear policy, and people like LeMay and his
proteges, people in the CIA, and some contractors, filled it. And
now, that conspiracy, long past any legitimate usefulness, and
long since financially corrupt, is menacing the peace of the whole
world, and imposing huge costs on innocent people.
