Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's
war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars"
defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make
the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an
application of science be successful? Is a militarized space
inevitable, necessary or impossible?

We are told by the Democratic administration that the US economy
has never been better. Huge numbers are being thrown about when they
mention the projected government surpluss. Money is just rolling
down the streets and yet, some in the US question the cost of NMD.
My goodness, where would this country be today if the men and
women who built it accepted defeat so easily.
I for one do not wish to bank our security on the hope that once
they do acquire a nuclear potential, men like Kim Jong Il and Saddam
Hussein will be rational.
What they are planning on is the fact that the US WILL NOT
retaliate for a single warhead flung at the US in anger because of
the huge amount of death and destruction that would be caused to the
neighboring country's of the attacker.
This country did not become what she is today by people accepting
defeat so easily.

Oh, please dont look surprised when the Chinese test their NEW
road mobile ICBM next month.
You remember, the one with stolen warhead technology from the US.
I for one predict a successful test firing of the entire
warhead/missile package.

I am convinced that the Clinton administration does NOT want a
missile defense system, because Clinton would like nothing better
than to see this country VULNERABLE. He is a socialist and a
traitor. These failures are designed to convince supporters that
such a system is NOT feasible, and to insure opponents that they
have nothing to worry about, because we'll NEVER have a system.
Watch the sudden surprise successes that we will have when Bush
becomes president.

Clinton and his gang are a bunch of traitors. They give away U.S.
technology to China, then stage PHONY tests designed to make us look
VULNERABLE, so the Chinese will be encouraged to build a system of
their own. Sound PARANOID? Well, who wouldn't be with this president
in office? His administration can be trusted NOT to tell the truth
about anything. Don't be surprised when the Bush administration
conducts SUCCESSFUL tests.

speed and becky
you guys are pefect example of how paranoid and fearfull behavior
often results in incorrect policy routes when considering the long
term objectives of this country. You guys are the ones who tend to
die in fires because you panicked and did not remain calm of a
situation. Public Policy can be made under such duress-under such
fear- but it often is a long term failure.
So silence your crys to 'Do Something'-instead learn what exactly
it is your crys would do.
