Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a
nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a
"Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed
considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense
initiatives more successful? Can such an application of
science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable,
necessary or impossible?

"The horse-rider can see the different world then the
foot-walker while traveling on the same road"
No doubt, almarst; but, the same road still arrives at the
same destination for both. However, the horse-rider will
usually get there first.

Assuming they travel in the same direction and to the same
destination.
I think I already mention one could only envy to live in
such a wonderfully simple world of yours.

"...The guys who are in charge right now were all
condemned for terrorism by the World Court..."
And the "world court" is a laughingstock to all who are
concerned about justice in the world.
The "world court" is a fabrication, proclaimed by those of
your ilk, in hopes that a name like "world court" will lend
some credibility among the ignorant to your condemnation of
those who stand against communism. Stick to the ignorant when
you speak of the "world court" almarst. The "world court" you
speak of has no credibility with anyone else.
I think I'll set up a "Intergalactic Universal Court" so
that it can trump whatever proclamations come from the mere
"world court". I surely could claim more stars and galaxies
support the "Intergalactic Univerals Court" court than you can
claim natons support the "world court". I have little doubt
that my claims would carry no less credibilty than yours.

All it takes is a little faith, honesty and common sense,
Alex.
You should try it. Perhaps you would find life to be less
frustrating.
There's a practical side too...you'd probably save a
fortune on indigestion pills.
