    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

However, how long would it take to fly the 7th fleet bomber to drop one on N.K.?

Who is really responsible for the tension on a peninsula?

Does Cuba deserve to be embargoed to the detriment of its population so iut can be blaimed on Castro?

Why US prevents Japan to pay the reparations to N.K.?

Why handreds of thousends of Iraqi kids had to die for the US desire to change their regime?

I don't like the word propaganda applyed to those facts.

'Yesterday' the male stalked the boundary, protected territory, ensured the forest or field for food supply.

'Yesterday' the boundary scouts protected the 'culture-language, myths, belief systems, knowledge of process, dance' of the tribe within.

'Yesterday' the simple-technology diffused via trading.

'Yesterday' of tribe and clearing gave way to the 'Yesterday' of nation.

'Today' the national boundaries are a pin-wheeled line ... dots ... on a map ... disecting a river, mountain range or plain.

'Today' within the boundary a commn culture is shared and created. From that culture people gain a sense of IDENTIY, a sense of who they are, who they were. Have a treasury of stories, myths, dance, music. Enjoy the fruits of working together to develop an economy that offers security, provision, together with medical and social provisions.

'Today' some nations are forming groups and forging a new common culture.

'Today' those groups are looking to law to offer a framework for growth.

'Today' there's a move to cut through redundancy and revitalise the groups to make them more efficient.

'Tomorrow' is a direction.

'Tomorrow' may be ONE WORLD.

'Tomorrow' the boundary rider sits on high.

'Tomorrow' the world as one works together.

'Tomorrow' the earth is greened, the sea is blue, the water is clear, the air is clean.

'Tomorrow' there is an over-all universal culture, an enabling culture that acknowledges the history of cultures, that offers structures and frameworks within which people can live peacefully, utlising their talents and skills, while moving forward.

Truth is the gold dust of
a changing environment

Truth glisterns
sparkles in a corner
sits and waits

Some truths have been uncovered
the 'near truths' know their
game will end

Real Truths have universiality
Real Truths are fossiked for
over long Centuries

Some say the way to Truth is focus
and refocus
and again

Cultural Truths later shaken
but for a time
satisfied men

A Truth of the now
is accepted the same
Later the 'lie'
is put into frame

Some Truths make for riches
Some wisdom - contentment

I hear that in Papers
it's a little
amendment!

WRT International Relations

Were each nation to ask of others this question :

    "Am I behaving like a Child, Teenager, or, responsible parent who demonstrates a mature understanding of the needs of the world?"
How would each nation see themselves?

How would others see that nation?

If there are nations that are seen as behaving as something 'more' maturely than a wilful child or rebel teen ... then which nations are they?

What characteristics, properties and processes are common to them?

What are the Nation-Characteristics of Child/Teen/Parent catergories?

How can a Child-Nation be assisted to grow into a mature-Nation?

Is there a negative or positive relationship between wealth-power and maturity?

Can an international framework be devised to encourage mature-responsibility of attitude as displayed toward others?

Are we working towards an accepted common culture?


What strengths are displayed, and which weaknesses need to be addressed?
