Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a
nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a
"Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed
considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense
initiatives more successful? Can such an application of
science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable,
necessary or impossible?

What a MORON!!! You dismiss history as "self-righteous
BS"...because the "wrong side" (to you?) WON??? In place of
nasty facts you show a preference for lollipop comic-book
fantasies like North Korea conducting H-bomb tests next to
Japan!!! Your one-man "think-tank" forgot to include an all
out invasion of South Korea to eliminate the JUST punishment
that would be meted out by US and Korean forces upon your
"Dear Leader" in Pyongyang.
You probably WON'T have to put up with "mazza-like whinings
and self delusions" the next time you're
incarnated......because you'll most likely be one of the
post-apocalytic cockroaches who'll inherit the Earth!!!

Now that you've eclipsed Rshow with meaty (though
hopelessly off-topic) information, I want to give you a little
present to amuse yourself with over the holidays......
It's a free plug-in for
Google...http://toolbar.google.com/.
I downloaded it earlier tonight with no problems. It adds a
toolbar of extra search features to your browser (IE5 or
later).
You're Welcome!!!

Fact | 22% of American Children live in Poverty!
No legislated minimum wage in the USA ensures that the
poor, at the bottom of the skills ladder, need to work 2-3
jobs!
Fact | 'father' in jail - ensures a cycle of poverty
The Poster might adjust his tool bar to determine how the
USA can 'afford' Nukes when it's kids can't afford books!

Truth, justice and the American way
http://www.arabnews.com/Article.asp?ID=20667
The months that followed were a legal and emotional
roller coaster ride. I was about to be subjected to things I
thought never existed in the United States of America.
...
I was unable to defend myself as I was shackled and
waist-chained. I suffered bruising to my right eye, wrists and
ankles as a result of being beaten and dragged. I tried to
file an official complaint against the guards, but was
prevented from doing so.

The IEEE paper (above) said to take a fresh look at the
dots/data and from them devise new ways, new frameworks, new
models, to focus and re-focus .....
Irrationality in the logic paterns has to be spotted and
the logic reworked.
