Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

With rshow devoting his "efforts" full-time to this forum (though not to the topic) and lchic exercizing every right not granted by "the enemy" she refuses to recognize, it's hard to compete. Hopefully, the combined efforts of those who see the urgency of defense against THE REAL AND PRESENT DANGER will cut through the chaff and decoys.

Empathy (12) International - Family

Families are about : belonging, warmth, love, empathy, a sharing of space - equitably, functioning within a group, the use of invisible rules to maximise freedoms within the space, the shared ustilsation of scarce resources.

The International Family of nations is about the same : Nations need to use power respectfully, to offer wrungs of achievement they can climb as both a body and individuals, along with rules - preferably golden to give order.

Propaganda can produce anti-empathetic feeling and action ... toward supposed 'others' of 'elsewhere' devoid of value and human feeling.

??? Are people functioning happily with challenge ???

A test regarding misuse of power is :

Empathy is about being able to put yourself into anothers shoes, see from their viewpoint, understand the complexities - look for cooperative factors.

Empathy is about bringing everyone along together through winning life experiences.

Empathy is an enabler - allowing all to maximise their life chances within prosperous, peaceful societies.

EMPATHY is a keystone for good NEGOTIATIONS.

There is a need for improved empathetic negotiations in the world - to make it a happier, more tolerant, and better place.

As I said (above) a bad workman blames his tools (rather than himself), a bad manager looks for scapegoats.

Propaganda is a device that 'cows' people, makes them unsure and afraid, creating a breeding ground for LIES.

For a better world - CUT to TRUTH!

Note it was the Iranians who arrived at the scene first, who reported the incident to UN observers, and who took pictures of the gassed Kurdish civilians
