Science
Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a
nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a
"Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed
considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense
initiatives more successful? Can such an application of
science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable,
necessary or impossible?

Well, if gisterme is Condoleezza Rice , or if Ann
Coulter has posted extensively on this thread - - the
connection between high level republicans, close to the
president, and this thread would be clear.
Wouldn't be hard to find those things out, if anybody with
some rank cared much.
And a lot of discussions (in gisterme's case, 700
postings, most clearly connected to missile defense) would be
clear.

A lot connected to what I said in MD2765-2766 rshow55
6/29/02 7:59am> can be checked in many ways - -
involving things said on this thread, and involving other
checkable things, as well.
With some fact checking -- there's enough detail, I
believe, to make a case in court - in the US, or elsewhere. I
believe that it would be in the national interest (as well as
my own) for me to pursue things that far. I shouldn't have to.
Getting to the truth, and honoring committments, is quite
often the most efficient, most stable, as well as the most
satisfying thing to do - - for all concerned. Especially when
people, both in the US and outside it - - are watching. As
they may be in the case of this thread - which has been so
active since September 2000.
There's a lot at stake. And this thread is complete
enough, and has enough checkable bits, that it would work very
well as pretrial discovery.
