Science
Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a
nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a
"Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed
considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense
initiatives more successful? Can such an application of
science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable,
necessary or impossible?

Now let's see. The court rebuffs the Justice Department's
submissions in which "lies" were evident. For the record,
these submissions were made on or before Sept 2000. lchic, who
were the President and Attorney General in Sept 2000?
Today's NYTimes headlines speak of German Intelligence that
chronicles the training activities of the 911 Terrorists. The
training occurred in 1999 and 2000 in Afghanistan. Who was
President in 1999 and 2000 and what did he know?
Of course you either don't know or won't answer but that is
to be expected.

Wasn't America responible for the rise and rise of the
Taliban - Wasn't it America that left Afghanistan in a vacuum
for decades ....
Almarst says 'OIL' has framed the events of the past
century.
Wasn't OIL and 'POWER' plays a factor of Afghanistan's
externally influenced history C20?
Very simplistic of you 'The Poster' above to try to push
9/11 into the Clinton basket.
America can be proud of ONE American who helped to shape
and improve the world over the second half of C20 ....

Deming Method:
W. Edwards Deming developed and applied a 14-point
management system called the Deming Method to improve
production efficiency, increase productivity and reduce costs.
Business and industry has applied this method of total quality
management since it was first introduced in the mid-20th
century ... http://www.findmehere.com/search/dictionary/d_index.htm

W. Edward Deming's 14 management practices to help
companies increase their quality and productivity
1. Create constancy of purpose for improving
products and services 2. Adopt the new
philosophy 3. Cease dependence on inspection to
achieve quality 4. End the practice of awarding business
on price alone; instead, minimize total cost by working
with a single supplier 5. Improve constantly
and forever every process for planning, production, and
service 6. Institute training on the job
7. Adopt and institute leadership 8. Drive
out fear 9. Break down barriers between staff areas
10. Eliminate slogans, exhortations, and targets for the
work force 11. Eliminate numerical quotas for the work
force and numerical goals for management 12. Remove
barriers that rob people of pride of workmanship and
eliminate the annual rating or merit system 13.
Institute a vigorous program of education and
self-improvement for everyone 14. Put everybody in the
company to work to accomplish the transformation.

Reader backtrack - re-read this list with attention to
words format-bolded
Keep in mind Showalter's advocacy of an improved process
for beginner reading instruction
Adopting as automatics the High Frequency words of language
then the initial part of the reading process can be
accomplished
effectively (achieved)
efficiently (at least cost to a national economy)
take the FEAR and trauma out of learning to read
give more people 'success'
get more through the first hurdle of reading
improve literacy
improve the level and skills of new entrants to modern
workforce
So rather than deride Showalter for his advocacy of system
improvement for the USA see NYT Readers Opinion Science

You proved my point. You cannot/will not answer a direct
question. This means that your lies and fabrications cannot be
anything more than that. I thought that you and Robert were
joined at the hip, regarding truthfullness, but maybe it was
just hypocrite!
