    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Read Debates, a new Web-only feature culled from Readers' Opinions, published every Thursday.

The 'Post' is mightier than the missile.

A re-tread of Aesop's moral ?

The Schoolyard is above the barnyard of the beholder.

The eyes of the beholder see both the barnyard and school yard. Doesn't matter which is "above," suffice it to know they're together. Happy time there !

Post something on Topic and show us that you are as good as you THINK you are.

Your comprehension problem showing up again: I've NOT said or drummed up "good" I think I am [not the kind of "self-aggrandizing" your 'idol', rshow55, his esteemed collaborator, lchic, you and others have been egaged in here]. I've just asked a couple of basic questions on what's been going on here for 2+years and where's the evidence of what is claimed to have been accomplished. Despite numerous attempts, have gotten NO answer at all.

When you and other regulars haven't said ANYTHING on-topic for so long, you want a 'new comer' who has not been here "long enough" to come to your rescue ?

Any way, how about defining the relationship you think KAEP may have in relation to MD, the way described in the Forum, from US perspective ?

I've asked you -- a strong rshow55 and his forum-use supporter -- and others to define [if rshow55 is too scattered to be able to focus on anything at all] what he has been doing here on the Forum and what has he accomplished so far vis-vis global claims. Other than school-yard drumming from YOU for him and his activities, YOU have not produced a scintilla of evidence or a response to my questions.

Your school yard antics, no matter how comfortable for you, IS NOT the response I was looking for.

bluestar23 - 09:17pm Oct 5, 2003 EST (# 14371 of 14375) AND bluestar23 - 10:42pm Oct 5, 2003 EST (# 14374 of 14375)

Cantabb....check out this...rshow55 is at the University of Wisconsin, I'm sure of it....a math Profeesor, or was in the past...I think I'll email some of his stuff to the Admin. of the University of Wisconsin, and see what they make of it...

He has repeatedly made a big show about where he lives, his personal details, his wife, his walks, his Casey-Eisenhower-CIA connections etc [appaently, inviting anyone to "check"]. As if THIS adds an iota of substance or credibility to his posts. Some posters have made an effort to see him or talk to him.

I am interested ONLY in what he posts and why -- NOT who he is or where he lives etc [I'm least bit interested in the personal details he constantly pumps in here; inappropriate and rather unseemly].

what's KAEP mean..?

cantabb - 11:16pm Oct 5, 2003 EST (# 14378 of 14398)

Kyoto Alternate Energy Protocol -- something that fredmoore thinks is an answer to everything, including MD ! But has NOT yet defined the relationship !
