Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a
nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a
"Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed
considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense
initiatives more successful? Can such an application of
science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable,
necessary or impossible?

Mao Capone ? I didn't know Al had a brother named Mao. An
interersting pair of bookends, though. Neither worth writing
home about.

Now, I have no way of knowing if willjusa was an
important personage.
I do feel that willjusa wanted to guide the
reader's guessing when he posted under than moniker.
Is gisterme - GWB , or close to Bush?
I don't know. But (s)he's made efforts to guide
guessing toward that idea. http://www.mrshowalter.net/PostsBy_Gisterme.htm
Detail and the Golden rule http://www.mrshowalter.net/a_md01000s/DetailNGR.htm
has some interesting links to this thread - that refer to the
CIA - and is interesting in some other ways.
A lot has happened since September 10th, 2001 when I first
posted most of Detail and the Golden rule http://www.mrshowalter.net/a_md01000s/DetailNGR.htm
I continue to believe that a lot could get clarified - and
that things would be better and safer, if leaders
insisted on finding out who gisterme is.
I think Assessing Watergate 30 Years Later By RICHARD

bears reading. In terms of issues that were not
assessed - but need to be.

If leaders insisted on finding out who
gisterme is?
Do you have any idea how crazy this sounds? I mean, really.
Bob, I have a suggestion.
To support your contention that gisterme is an important
somebody, you provide a link to a bunch of his posts. I
recommend, just for fun, that you select from those posts two
or three quotes to copy and post separately in the forum.
Choose the quotes that you think are the most revealing, the
most suspicious, the most convincing, from your point of view.
Show us the actual words, verbatim, that gisterme wrote that
say to you, "Hmm. Reading this makes me think that gisterme is
Bush or someone close to him."
I don't have time to scour all of gisterme's posts, and I
have no idea what words ring out in your mind with the
message, "This is Bush speaking or someone near to him."
It would be helpful to me--and perhaps to others--to
understand why you think gisterme is a big poobah.
Thanks.

Gisterme -
Come on, now! We need someone to be the important
person who's ear it is so important for Robert to have. Else
he'll keep boring us with the details of the "case" for your
importance. Your importance is obviously far too important to
Robert for him to let it go. Wouldn't it be easier to simply
cop to some kind of overarching importance than to keep
arguing with someone clinging to an a priori conclusion?
