    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Read Debates, a new Web-only feature culled from Readers' Opinions, published every Thursday.

The NYT Blair problem was straight forward and solved with goodbye -- raises the question when will the NYT put the 'mole' on the bbq and give it it's last rights?

Boy, loony, if you were any more cryptic you'd be posting pure gibberish.

Reminds me of a guy who lives in the same small town I do. he says he HAS to live here because the CIA (for which he worked for so many years) has killed everyone he used to know, and if he goes anywhere they think he might talk to someone (?) they'll get him too. Just to be on the safe side, though, the agency has infiltrated local and county government - everyone from the county commissioner to the mayor of the county seat - as well as most of the council people - are plants that are keeping an eye on him. They have his phone tapped, of course, and monitor everything he does, 'cuz he's so important.

You two would get along reeeall well, loony.

Gee, I guess if a couple of IDIOTS named jorian319 and mazza9, who refuse to identify who they REALLY ARE, post their OPINIONS on this board, it MUST be true, right?

robkettenburg03 - 06:56pm May 26, 2003 EST (# 12067 of 12076)

Gee, perhaps George W. Bush wouldn't have to pay tribute to our fallen soldiers HAD HE NOT SENT THEM TO THEIR DEATHS FOR NOTHING IN THE FIRST PLACE!

'The Poster'

Indispensible to both NYT and CIA

    Big Question Mark
    ?
Raises the point, if the NYT, supposedly a high quality media source, is riddled with Agency types ... who shakes the riddle?

if the NYT, supposedly a high quality media source, is riddled with Agency types ...

And if San Francisco Bay is made out of grape juice, what then?
