Science
Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a
nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a
"Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed
considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense
initiatives more successful? Can such an application of
science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable,
necessary or impossible?

makes some key points, in includes this:
I think, under the circumstances, that it
might be particularly good if I could proceed on a basis
senior people at Deutsche Bank Securities would think
honorable, workable, and fair.
I've been trying to "play it straight" for a
very long time.

Komodo dragons may not worry about betraying investors, but
I do. I was ordered to do so - and some promises were made.
Under current laws and procedures, I probably could never
prove that in court.
But if the CIA wants to recruit people - and say "trust us"
- they ought to think about what's happened to me.
- - -
The Germans ought to want solutions that could be
put together - that involved a mixed response -
including both business and government.
They have problems now that Eisenhower and George
Marshall worried about - including some about energy
where EU is better placed than the US to respond in the world
public interest (including the US public interest.)

Fear of a Quagmire? By PAUL KRUGMAN http://www.nytimes.com/2003/05/24/opinion/24KRUG.html
Some core questions about economic function that were much
on people's minds in the 1930's to 1950's remain unsolved
today - but now we could handle them much better than they
were handled before - if we could unlearn some now-old
"lessons."
Sometimes planning can't work. But sometimes planning is
the only hope - and social circumstances have to be fit to
technical imperatives. There is no contradiction.
George Marshall, Eisenhower, and others of their generation
had that much straight.

Thayer David(though I'm not sure) guess what his movie name
was .......'Dragon'.
Oh well we'll have to catch that movie again and verify
facts, and check dot dispersions.
Have a good one everyone. (you too lupeychic). Drive

Will $400bn military not counting Global Empire Wars on the
ground and upper startosphere help?
If not, what will the next "Tax Cut" look like?
