Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's
war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars"
defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make
the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an
application of science be successful? Is a militarized space
inevitable, necessary or impossible?

"Clinton was a regular American boy and worldside had respect"
Yeah!!!!! He used cocaine, luds, smoked pot, Fucxed all the women
he could even while he was married, is a convicted liar etc. A real
American hero! Someone to tell your children to look up to and to be
like! Yeah!
BTW Many world leaders did not like him nor did they trust him. I
guess you missed the press releases from the UK where P.M. Tony
Blair refused an audience with Bill Clinton after he left office.
P.M .Blair was quoted as saying, Bill Clinton is no longer the
president and I don't have time for him. But yet P.M. Tony Blair
granted an audience with Former President George Bush Sr. a few days
after this happened and also with Former President Jimmy Carter.
Sounds to me like Bill Clinton got the BOOT!

Yet, Bill Clinton received a ROUSING, STANDING OVATION from the
crowd at the Wimbledon games and every other place he'd been to. It
had been described as a 'beatlemania redux'. Tony Blair NEVER
received attention like that anywhere at anytime IN HIS OWN
COUNTRY!!!!
Jealousy from Tony Blair???
The dog poop on my shoe has more class then you
Bush bashers....

I was at "Wimbledon" during that! What was not reported on the TV
and in print was Bill Clinton got spat upon by some bystanders and
were removed and arrested! Also when he left the pavilion Americans
booed him along with many of my fellow Countrymen outside of center
court. They booed so loudly that all tennis on court two was halted
and a let court was called!
So get your facts correct!
Can't you people stay on subject?

Now we all know that Time Magazine is NOT a cheer leader for Mr.
Bush! So when Time writes a long article and gives many accolades to
Mr. Bush this should turn heads. I wonder what the Bush bashers
think about Time now? I guess Time got it wrong too! I guess 89% of
us don't get it either! I guess only the 7% that disagree with Mr.
Bush on everything get it!

of the year top of their list .. they sell words with compromise.
Seem Putin is head of a country more American than America
Interesting how Clinton is resurging here on MD .. some diversion
.. strategic tactic ... uuhmm .. problems for Bush and Admin about
to surface so distracting?

"the most talked about man"
What does that have to do with anything? You must be a real dumb
person blind and or deaf!
Yah... lets give that Bin Laden even more press so his sleeper
cells will awake and do more damage. It is not a matter of guts, it
is a matter of the right thing to do. I guess you don't have a clue
on what the Mid East reaction to Bin Laden on the front page of the
Times being man of the year would do! In the Mid East putting Bin
Laden's face on a major news stand as "man of the year" would start
a ground swell of supporters and we would have more attacks. I guess
you liberals never think about consequences to your actions. I
happen to be Egyptian so I can speak to what would happen over
there.
As for Bush being in trouble.... the last poll I heard had him in
the 80+% of job approval. You are just blowing smoke! Bill Clinton
himself just said Al Gore would mean major grid lock and he would be
bad for America! So I guess in some strange way Bill Clinton has
endorsed GWB.

Why do you suppose Clinton has rallied his "troops" to help
re-establish his image. the plain and simple facts are that he is
the same old Clinton. He will marshall the troops who will chant,
"Clinton is good..Long live Clinton"
Meanwhile McCain and Lieberman are forming a committee to look
into the elements that contributed to 9/11. Who do you think will be
found culpable?
Today in the Dallas Morning News Bob Krueger, former Congressman
and Ambassador to Botswana and Burundi wrote an OpEdit which is
entitled, "When I Called CIA, They Put Me on Hold" He writes of his
experiences in Africa in 1998 when Khobar Towers and other
indications pointed towards Osama Bin Laden and anti-American angst.
This was Bill Clinton's watch and he was too busy debauching
interns, wagging fingers at his employers, (that's you and me), and
giving false testimony before a federal judge. He kept trying to put
it behind him so he could get about the business of the American
people. But all he did was give us the business.
Today, Rena Pederson, the editor of the Dallas Morning News,
wrote a stirring piece about Todd and Lisa Beamer. This couple was
every bit as good as Bill and Hillary were self serving slime balls.
If you have to bash anything try bashing your head into a wall.
Maybe some sense will seep in where only foolish thoughts currently
reside.

The idea for the JDAM was born during the gulf war, where
the most advanced precision munitions of the day, laser-guided
bombs, could be thrown off target by clouds or dust storms that
deflect the laser beams.
