    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Well the economy is wrecked, surplus is now a deficit, war on a helpless nation, and murder and crime rising, 200,000 citizens out of work, loss of our vitial civil rights.

Mr Bush you have managed to take our country backwards over 12 years since you daddy wrecked it in the 80's

Just to think we have 3 more years... I wonder if the nation and the world can survive BUSH

You are a real moron! The poll was conducted this week! How the Hel? is that old data or behind the times? The data is only 4 days old!

What a moron! You are missing the point! Your OWN party did the poll! YOUR OWN PARTY! Just because the NYtimes did not report it does not mean anything. The NYtimes does not report many things. The poll can be found on the AP!

So what about Clinton's "Conflict" of interest? White water... Travel office, bombing a milk plant? You never seems to talk about that! If you are going to hammer Bush on these type of issues then you should have hammered Bill Clinton too. What is good for one man is good the the next! If it comes to pass that Bush has a conflict of interest with Texas oil then I will be the first to Hammer him on it. But at this time there is no "Proof"!

Clinton was a regular American boy and worldside had respect ... The Bush family history is more distinguished - the dirt line ... sorry .. blue blood (read OIL) runs right back to the Thirties ... surely there's a monograph from which to read ... ?

RobertShowalter 12/19/01 7:08am Good to see your post - interesting articles and comment.

This board now reminds me of the alphabetical junk in the Human Genome ... a lot of JUNK between real-people-postings ... didn't one read above that the multi-monkiered poster is of the CondiRice camp and on her payroll. Pity the NYT falls down in this way. I hear the NewYorkPost hopes to re-invent itself ... one can see why it has hopes for an improved future.

Most of you people are conspiratorial idiots. Thank goodness Bush just goes out and defends our country.

So Scott departs and the pond scum emerges once again. The dog poop on my shoe has more class then you Bush bashers. Why don't you stick to the topic and leave your flame throwers at home.
