Russian military leaders have expressed concern about US plans
for a national missile defense system. Will defense technology be
limited by possibilities for a strategic imbalance? Is this just SDI
all over again?

Let me expand with details - - that you should have read before,
and that are very basic technical issues - in the morning. I've had
a long day, have eaten, had a couple of beers, and would like to
finish a "housekeeping chore" just now. You'll see details in the
morning. Details that are repeated because you have NOT responded to
them before. Just now, let me do keep up some continuity.

And what will be the proper response when the next hit comes?
Bin
Laden prepares new attacks
Saudi billionaire fugitive Osama Bin Laden is
preparing to launch new terrorist attacks over next few weeks,
according to information obtained by western intelligence.
Officials said Bin Laden is believed to have ordered his agents
in both Europe and the United States to scan targets and prepare
spectacular strikes that could resemble those of the Islamic
suicide attacks on New York and Washington on Sept. 11.
Perhaps its appropriate in this thread to start talking about
"missle offence".
When the next hit comes --- perhaps far worse than the Manhattan
Massacre --- it will be time to start thinking of options that will
truly take them --- and their start-sponsors --- out. For good.
Forever.
